High tungsten-based alloys
High tungsten-based alloys are those alloys which are based on tungsten, and a small amount of nickel, iron, copper and other alloying elements of the alloy are added into it, which can enhance the strength and the ductility of pure tungsten, making it easy to machine. They have the characteristics of a high density (~ 18.5g / cm3) and adjustability, the absorption ability of high-energy radiation (1/3 higher than lead-ray absorption coefficient), low coefficient of thermal expansion (4 ~ 6 × 10-6 / ℃), good ductility, high strength and elastic modulus, easy to machine, welding, etc. They have been widely used in radiation shielding material, weight materials, inertia materials, balancing materials, high temperature molds, anvils, etc.
Our advanced isostatic molding technology is able to produce a large variety of high proportion alloys, shaped pieces. With the technology of extrusion, molding, injection molding, a variety of small products can be produced. And with the technology of forging, extrusion, rolling, we can produce a variety of processing state plates, rods and other parts. Therefore, we can provide domestic and international customers with a variety of grades of alloys with high-density. And the technology of us has reached the international advanced level.
Tungsten copper alloys
Tungsten copper is produced with the selection of fine tungsten and copper powder, and soaked by the first-class sintering refining process. Combined with the advantages of tungsten and copper, it has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, erosion, high strength, heavy, good conductivity, being easy to machine and transpiration cooling. It can be used as electrical contacts, electrodes, for electronic packaging, and in other occasions which require of thermal conductivity properties and high temperature.
We can produce various one-element and two-element tungsten (molybdenum) copper alloys with copper content of 5% -95% according to customer needs by taking different processes. We can also produce a variety of large, shaped products by using isostatic molding process, and a variety of sheets, rods, tubes and small products with different shapes can be produced with compression molding, extrusion molding and injection molding. And with rolling process, a variety of plates and multiple composite plates can be produced.
Tungsten-rhenium alloys
We add 3%, 5%, 25% and 26% of rhenium in tungsten to make tungsten rhenium alloy. Tungsten rhenium alloy has good electrical properties and ductility and workability, and its wire can be used as high-temperature thermocouple wire and the cathode wire.
Tungsten-Molybdenum Alloy
Tungsten-molybdenum alloy is a metal alloy consisting of molybdenum and tungsten. It has excellent resistance to molten zinc corrosion, high melting point, ablation resistance and good resistance to flame erosion of solid particle. With liquid zinc corrosion-resistant performance, molybdenum-tungsten alloys are mainly used for producing some corrosion-resistant parts for liquid zinc temperature measurement tubes, heating electrode pipes, zinc solution pump rotors and zinc-smelting furnace, as well as for production of molybdenum-tungsten alloy crucibles for Sapphire growth.
AT&M Refractory Metal Materials adopts isostatic molding technology to customize various large-sized and special-shaped molybdenum-tungsten products according to customer needs. Currently our main specifications include:
