Rhenium is a truly rare element. And its content in the crust is smaller than all the rare earth elements, only larger than these elements like protactinium and radium. And since it does not form a fixed mineral, and is usually associated with other metals, it becomes the last element found in nature.

Shenzhen Sunrise Metal Industry Co.,Ltd is the earliest company in China which is engaged in the research and development of Rhenium and Rhenium Alloy. After nearly 60 years of development, it has formed a series of pure rhenium, tungsten-rhenium and molybdenum-rhenium products. These products are widely applied for heating body, thermocouples for temperature measurement, cathodes of electronic tubes, and high-temperature components.
Quality Assurance
Our study on refractory metals for decades enables us to fully understand their characteristics and features. We are your best choice as a provider for both pure rhenium and rhenium alloy products. From purchase of raw materials until the final production, we employ the most advanced testing equipment to ensure delivery of flawless and top quality products to you; our experienced technicians can also meet your demanding requirements on product details.
Application
Industrial furnace industry, semiconductor industry, electronic industry, and metallurgical industry.
Alloys (WRe,MoRe)
Rhenium can simultaneously improve the strength and ductility of tungsten, molybdenum and chromium. So people call this phenomenon as "rhenium effect."
Tungsten-Rhenium Alloy (WRe)
We add 3%, 5%, 25% and 26% of rhenium in tungsten to form tungsten rhenium alloy. Tungsten rhenium alloy has good electrical properties, ductility and workability. Its wire can be used as high temperature thermocouple and the cathode wire
Molybdenum-Rhenium Alloy (MoRe)
Molybdenum-rhenium alloy is formed by adding different contents of element rhenium into molybdenum. Molybdenum and rhenium are both refractory metals. By combining the two elements, molybdenum-rhenium alloy can have high-temperature physical properties of rhenium, and good mechanical properties of molybdenum, thus having born excellent performance. Its rolling deformation degree can be up to 90%. By adding 47.5% or 41% rhenium into molybdenum to form molybdenum-rhenium alloy (nominal composition 50%Mo+50%Re), its ductility, weldability and formability are greatly improved. Even at high temperatures, molybdenum-rhenium alloy can maintain its good ductility. Molybdenum-rhenium alloy is widely used in the electronics industry, the nuclear industry and the aerospace industry.
